01 Acceptance of Terms & Operational Authority
By engaging SAFE-X Fire & Safety Service And Training Institute ("SAFE-X") for equipment procurement, installation, routine maintenance, or corporate/workplace team training, the client ("Client", "Purchaser", "Employer", or "Participant") agrees to be legally bound by these terms.
02 Fire Safety Equipment Supply & Sales
All equipment supplied by SAFE-X complies with Sri Lankan standards (SLS 883) and internationally recognized fire safety benchmarks (NFPA, BS-EN, ISO):
- Product Inspection: Extinguishers, hose reels, fire alarms, smoke detectors, and emergency lighting fixtures are factory-tested, hydrostatically verified, and certified prior to delivery.
- Delivery & Title: Ownership passes to the purchaser upon complete settlement of invoices. Risk of damage passes upon physical delivery at the agreed site.
- Return & Replacement: Defective items must be reported in writing within 7 business days of delivery for immediate warranty replacement.
03 System Installation & Site Access
For installations of fire alarm matrices, sprinkler networks, and fire suppression pipelines:
- The client must provide unobstructed site access, necessary municipal permits, power connections, and architectural schematics.
- All installations undergo rigorous pressure testing, wiring continuity verification, and commissioning before hand-off.
- SAFE-X shall not be liable for preexisting structural building flaws affecting installation geometry or municipal clearance delays caused by unapproved architectural changes.
04 Maintenance, Servicing & Hydrostatic Testing
Periodic servicing of fire extinguishers and safety systems is crucial to guarantee live operational readiness:
- Extinguishers must undergo annual inspection, weight verification, pressure testing, and periodic chemical refilling according to fire brigade guidelines.
- Service tags issued by SAFE-X are tamper-evident and serve as certified records of statutory inspection history.
05 Workplace & Team Training Services (Live Drills)
SAFE-X Fire & Safety Service And Training Institute delivers practical on-site workplace fire training under the creed "Experience is the Best Teacher". Training involves practical, hands-on, and live-fire simulation drills:
- Safety Compliance: All staff participants must follow instructor safety commands, wear supplied Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adhere strictly to designated drill boundaries.
- Medical Fitness: Participating organizations and staff are responsible for declaring any respiratory, cardiac, or physical limitations prior to entering live-smoke or live-extinguishment scenarios.
- Attendance & Certification: Staff participation certificates are issued to confirmed attendees upon successful completion of practical exercises.
06 Safety Certifications & Verification
Certificates issued by SAFE-X and safety audit documents bear unique serial numbers and security seals. Unauthorized duplication, tampering, or misrepresentation voids all liability and may result in legal prosecution under national laws.
07 Pricing, Quotations & Payment Schedules
Official quotations issued by SAFE-X are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issuance unless explicitly stated otherwise. Custom installation, bulk commercial supply, and corporate team training contracts require an agreed advance prior to deployment.
08 Warranties & Limitation of Liability
SAFE-X provides standard manufacturer and workmanship warranties on all certified products. SAFE-X is not liable for damages arising from client negligence, improper storage, unauthorized modifications, lack of scheduled maintenance, or failure to act in accordance with trained safety protocols during an uncontrolled emergency.
09 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
